== Shell Arena ==
A fast multiplayer card battler playable over SSH with public and private matches.
How to play:
- Open a terminal and run: ssh shellarena.szentivanyi.dev
How it works:
- 2 to 4 players fight in simultaneous rounds.
- Each new round gives every living player 3 energy and 2 cards.
- Unspent energy does not carry over to the next round.
- Armor resets at the start of each round.
- Queue your cards, then end your turn.
- When everyone has ended the turn, the round resolves in order:
buff -> block -> status -> damage -> poison tick
- Weak is applied before damage in the same round.
- Weak reduces the target's next damage by 2, then drops by 1 at round end.
- Poison damage happens at the end of the round.
- Poison stacks and does not expire on its own.
- After the round log is shown, every living player must press enter to continue.
- Last player alive wins. If nobody survives the round, the match is a draw.
- If round 10 ends with multiple players alive, highest HP wins.
Cards:
- Strike: 6 damage, cost 1
- Heavy Blow: 10 damage, cost 2
- Block: +5 armor, cost 1
- Guard: +8 armor, cost 2
- Draw: +2 cards, cost 1
- Energy: +1 energy, cost 0
- Poison: apply 2 poison, cost 1
- Weak: apply 1 weak, cost 1
